Kelly Ann arrived in Palm Springs, CA after a long but safe flight
from
Charlotte, NC. Her room mate is Mrs. Florida and they are preparing
to head
out to the cocktail/social event this evening.

Kelly Ann is having a great
time in Palm Springs. She has been in rehearsals today and had a
fitting for her opening number outfit and swimsuit. FINALLY…… her
luggage arrived today!
Friday, August 26, 2005
Kelly Ann went on a tram ride, visited downtown Palm Springs,
and enjoyed an evening horse and carriage ride.
Saturday, August 27, 2005
Kelly Ann visited an art museum. Delegates had dinner with Mr.
Marmel in his suite.

Kelly Ann went hiking and had a barbeque. Monday, August
29, 2005
Kelly Ann and the delegates had lunch with the Mayor today, where
they all presented their state gifts to the mayor. Later they had
rehearsals. Tuesday, August 30, 2005
Kelly Ann and the delegates had rehearsals all day long.
Wednesday, August 31, 2005
Kelly Ann and delegates had swimsuit photo shoot at the pools. They
were photographed with and without hats. She is having a great time.
She did her introduction for the TV crew and was in the Levian
Jewelry photo shoot. Thursday, September 1, 2005
Kelly Ann was in the Trim Spa promotional segment to be aired at
the pageant. They had rehearsals during the day and dinner with the
President of the Riveria Resort. Friday, September 2, 2005
Mrs. North Carolina America Pageant Executive Directors arrived in
Palm Springs to support Kelly Ann. Kelly Ann spent the day in
rehearsals as the show was being taped. Saturday, September 3,
2005
Kelly Ann spent a very long day in rehearsals. Her family arrived in
Palm Springs. Sunday, September 4, 2005
Kelly Ann did her voiceover of "Why I Want to Be Mrs. America". The
interview portion of the competition was held, and there were more
rehearsals. Monday, September 5, 2005
Preliminary rounds of competition - swimsuit and evening gown. The
Parade of Costumes showing off each delegate's state costume was
also held. Tuesday, September 6, 2005
The entire day was spent in rehearsals for the delegates and
their husbands.
